We use natural and conscious fabrics such as organic cotton, organic hemp and other carefully selected breathable materials. Each fabric is chosen for comfort, durability, and suitability for delicate baby skin.

Our First Weave collection is crafted from carefully chosen natural blends: 70% organic cotton with 30% Himalayan hemp, and 55% organic hemp with 45% organic cotton. These blends are designed to feel gentle against a baby’s skin from the very first wear, while becoming softer and more lived-in with every wash.

Yes. Our fabrics are GOTS-certified and OEKO-TEX certified. These certifications help ensure that the materials we use are responsibly processed and tested for safety, making them suitable for delicate baby and toddler clothing.

Yes. MIRUQI pieces are handcrafted and handwoven by artisans from the Himalayan valleys, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. We create in small batches, with close attention to fabric, fit, finish, and detail. Some designs may also feature hand-finished or embroidered elements, giving each piece its own quiet character.

Gently. Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Wash with similar colours, avoid bleach, and dry in shade to preserve the fabric and finish.The fabric softens beautifully over time, no special treatment needed, just a little patience.

Natural fabrics may shrink slightly after the first wash. We recommend following the care instructions carefully to maintain the garment’s shape and softness.

We provide a detailed size guide on each product page. Babies grow differently, so we recommend choosing a size based on your child’s current measurements rather than age alone.If you are between sizes, we recommend going one size up- children grow fast, and our pieces are made to grow with them.

MIRUQI pieces are made in limited quantities as part of our slow-made approach. Some styles may be restocked depending on fabric availability and production timelines, while others may remain limited edition.
